Danny Dyer

Danny Dyer graduated from Klein Oak in 2010, participating in the theatre department more each year, and holding the Treasurer officer position for Drama Club senior year. His first ever-onstage role was his freshman year as Cinderella’s Father in Into the Woods . He would do multiple shows over the next few years, both in school and out. Some KO favorites include The Small World of Millie McIvor (Mr. Hornbuckle), The Imaginary Invalid (Beralde) and 1984 (Big Brother/Loudspeaker). He attends Sam Houston State University as a Musical Theatre major, where he played the lead in a student-directed production of Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends: A Final Evening with the Illuminati (Reverend Eddie), as well as a member of the honorary theatre fraternity Alpha Psi Omega. Outside of Sam Houston, Danny also played the lead in the world premiere adaption of Neil Gaiman’s Odd and the Frost Giants at Stages Repertory Theatre. The training and lessons he learned at Oak and the experiences he had there have proved invaluable both as a student of theatre and in professional work. It becomes clear to him time and time again just how fortunate he was to have been taught at Klein Oak Theatre.
