Klein Oak Theatre raised more than $11,000 for the American Cancer Society in the 2012 Relay for Life of Northwest Harris County. The event was held May 11 at Klein Oak High School.
Mr. Robinson issued a challenge to our team to raise $10,000 toward the fight against cancer. The KO Theatre team exceeded the fundraising goal, and Mr. Robinson honored the challenge by getting a pink mohawk haircut for the event!
Klein Oak Theatre continued to raise additional money through sponsorship of a jail at the event — donations were made to put friends in jail and to bail them out.
